Bonne et Filou's treats have low moisture levels and use only natural ingredients, ensuring a stable shelf life.

Store them in a cool, dry place at 60-70°F out of direct light. Make sure to have your dog consume them before the best by date.

Exposure to moisture, 80+°F temperatures and light for long periods of time can reduce the shelf life of the product.

Non! That's the magic of our macarons! Our products have been thought out and carefully designed to be incredibly convenient, no refrigeration required! They are hard treats and not real human macarons, so they do not need to be consumed right away. When stored according to the directions, the product is safe until its best by date, but freshest within the first few weeks of opening.

Just like human food, things aren’t always identical. We take a lot of pride in having all of our products handmade in small batches using naturally sourced ingredients. Since we bake each macaron individually and hand craft them, no two are the same (same as when you bake your own cookies)!

While we never change the formula or ingredients, there will be a lot of variations between each macaron and batch. The differences are totally safe and normal so you shouldn’t worry about it. They are indicators of how natural and handmade our treats really are.

Since we only deliver the best all-natural products possible, we don’t use artificial coloring. We only use natural ingredients and natural coloring. For this reason, all colors of our products (especially the yogurt filling) will fade after excessive light exposure. To avoid fading, keep the macarons in the box and store them in a cool and dry place, out of direct light exposure.

However, if some shading occurs, do not worry, the product is still 100% safe to consume by the best date. Color shading is normal in natural products like ours.

Bonne et Filou products are carefully handmade in small batches in a health department-certified commercial kitchen in the USA.

Bien sur (of course)! Our treats use only the finest human grade ingredients and you will NEVER (oh non jamais!) find an ingredient that can be harmful to a dog or a human. So good that we’ve even tried them ourselves!

However, we don’t recommend it for two reasons: (i) they are quite hard so your dentist may dislike you for it, and (ii) your dog will dislike you even more. Royals shouldn’t have to share.

Our treats are suitable for all dogs, sizes, life stages and breeds. According to the size of your dog and his/her chewing habits, your dog will require more time to eat our treats since they are hard and designed for a long-lasting chew. View our macarons as high reward treats and not as training treats.

For elderly or small dogs, we recommend breaking the treat in smaller pieces (by twisting both sides). Wasn’t someone saying the bigger the better? Our macarons are royally lavish treats!

The length of time it takes to consume a Bonne et Filou macaron varies from dog to dog. It may only take a few seconds for a big dog that's an avid chewer, while it can take other dogs 10 to 15 minutes.

Bonne et Filou macarons are not soft, they are hard treats that have been baked with the beautiful shape of a French macaron. If the macaron seems too big for your dog, you can cut it in half! Chances are, they will want the whole thing, you’d be surprised! We’ve had quite a few dog macaron eating competitions and there has never been one crumb left to spare! Even the smaller royals, have quite the French palate for these delicious treats!

The most lavish and decadent macaron treat wouldn’t live up to its name if it weren’t handmade from the highest quality, premium ingredients we could find.

Our 100% natural formula is handmade in the USA and has no artificial coloring or any preservatives. Our ingredients are corn-free and wheat-free, and sourced from local suppliers - only the best for our four-legged royals.

Our macarons are made up of oat flour, honey, coconut oil and a natural yogurt filling. The yogurt filling represents only 0.5% of the formula and is purchased at one of our USA supplier. This yogurt filling uses multiple different natural ingredients but each of them is used in trace and represents 0.0001% to 0.3% of the entire formula.

o Oat Flour: As a low-gluten and high-fiber grain, oats are a healthy source of carbohydrates, protein, iron, manganese, zinc, and B vitamins. Oat four is easily digested by dogs, helping maintain a healthy digestive tract.

o Honey: Honey has been proven to reduce skin and seasonal allergies, improve digestive health and provide a natural source of energy as well as minerals (calcium, potassium, manganese, copper, etc.) and vitamins A, B-complex, C, D, E, and K. Honey is tasty and quickly metabolized.

o Coconut Oil: Coconut oil, extracted from coconuts, provides beneficial medium chain fatty acids for supporting a healthy and shiny coat, energy levels, healthy brain function and a healthy immune system.

Non mon ami(e) (no my friend)! None of our products contain anything artificial. Bonne et Filou uses only the finest all-natural ingredients as well as natural coloring, and no preservatives whatsoever! What your royal dog deserves!

Being that our macarons are handmade in small batches, each one slightly varies. Approximately, each macaron is 28 g (1 oz) and is about 100 kcal (3,600 kcal / kg).

Rest assured, our treats are high reward treats and much larger and satisfying than a non-royal treat. So don't be fooled with calorie counting! On a kcal/kg comparison basis, our products are way less caloric than a majority of brands in the market.

Although we cannot officially call our products “human-grade” given our manufacturing facility doesn’t have an FDA “human-grade” certification, we use only 100% human-grade ingredients to make these specialty treats for animal consumption. Hence, you can snag a bite from your furry friend, won’t hurt you! (We’ve tried a few, don’t tell Filou!)

Bonne et Filou uses the Waltham Method to calculate feeding guidelines. Waltham produced guidelines for nutrient requirements using clinical research and scientific evidence for companion animals and updates these guidelines every two years.

It is important to note that feeding guidelines vary based on several factors such as activity level, age and pregnant or lactating mothers. To account for these variety of factors, we've provided detailed feeding guidelines for dog owners. The suggested servings are guidelines and may need to be adjusted based on each individual dog's needs. Bonne et Filou macarons need to be fed to your dog as treats and are not meant to replace your dog’s regular diet.

We are proud to source only the best high-quality, premium and natural ingredients from the USA. 

We test our ingredients for Salmonella, Listeria and E-coli. Our products undergo exhaustive testing for contaminants, environmental toxins and heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, mercury, BPA, chromium, pesticides, antibiotics and melamine. Our facilities has adequate kill-steps in place, enabling high-quality products.

At Bonne et Filou, we maintain the highest quality standards and safety procedures to guarantee that our treats pass our royal requirements, which consist of being the best in the industry!

Our facilities are audited on an ongoing basis by the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and the FDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration) to ensure that strict food safety standards are respected. In addition, our facilities have GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) food safety regulations and are SQF (Safe Quality Foods) certified under a globally recognized standard.

Customers can return items within 30 days from the original purchase date. We are unable to accept returns (i) made after 30 days from the original purchase date (except at the discretion of our customer service team), (ii) on expired products, and (iii) on damaged, used, or unwrapped products.

Although we are French-inspired, our team is located in New York City. We proudly manufacture all products in the USA. While we don't have our own retail location, we bake everything and ship it right to your door! 

Shipping rates are being calculated automatically in your cart according to where you live. We provide 2 types of shipping modes:

- Standard shipping (averages 2-6 business days in the U.S.) but can take up to 10 business days until first delivery attempt

- Express shipping (averages 1-4 business days in the U.S.)

- Worldwide standard shipping (averages 2-6 days) but there is no guarantee window

Timing depends on your shipping zone. We ship from PA.

Given we rely on post services, Bonne et Filou cannot be held responsible for delay in shipments.

We ship anywhere in the USA but to ensure every pup world-wide can feel like a royal, we can also ship internationally! (We won't be responsible for import taxes or tariffs, if any)

It’s much better to make sure your royal pooch has enough luxury treats on a weekly or monthly basis, right? Well, Filou approved!

The card on your account is charged on a regular schedule in accordance with your shipments.

If you need to make any changes to your order, whether that's switching a flavor, adding / removing an item or pausing a delivery, you can make those on your Account page. You can skip a delivery and reschedule as you please.
