Photographing your Beagle

Beagles rarely sit still, so take photos after a walk, when your dog is calm, and hold a treat at your own eye level to bring the ears forward. Tricolor coats need even light to keep the black saddle from going flat, so avoid deep shade and midday sun. Send 1 photo from the side to show the saddle and the white tip of the tail.

How much does a custom beagle portrait cost?

From $99 for a frameless canvas, 9 x 12 in or 12 x 9 in depending on the scene, and from $139 framed. Panoramic scenes such as Les Cabines start at $149. Shipping is free in the US.

Do you do tricolor, lemon and red beagles?

Yes. We follow the coat in your photos, tricolor, lemon and white, red and white or blue tick, and you can ask for changes on the proof.

Is a beagle portrait from L'Atelier a painting?

Can I include 2 or 3 beagles?
