Custom Cavapoo Portraits

A custom cavapoo portrait from L'Atelier places your own cavapoo into an original French scene, printed on matte canvas in the USA from $99. Bonne et Filou is named after Filou, a cavapoo, so this cross of a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and a poodle is close to home: a lapdog with soft curls who looks right on a Paris balcony or in a hotel bed. Send 2 or more photos, the proof is ready within 24 to 48 hours, and changes are unlimited. Up to 3 dogs in 1 portrait, and shipping is free in the US.

Photographing your Cavapoo

Cavapoo coats run from loose waves to tight fleece curls, and both flatten in harsh light, so photograph in soft daylight or open shade. An F1 cavapoo often keeps the Cavalier's long ears and flatter coat, while an F1B or multigen looks curlier and more like a poodle, so send a recent photo that shows the coat your dog has now. Apricot, cream and red coats wash out in direct sun, black and chocolate ones need bright light on the face, and Blenheim or tricolor markings show best in 1 extra photo from the side. Brush the hair away from the eyes and take 1 photo at eye level and 1 of the whole dog.

How it works

Choose a scene, send at least 2 photos of your dog, and we place your dog into it. You see a proof within 24 to 48 hours and can ask for as many changes as you like. Your canvas is printed in the USA, framed or frameless, and ships free in the US.

Questions

How much does a custom cavapoo portrait cost?

From $99 for a frameless 9 x 12 in canvas and from $139 framed. Le Balcon, the Paris balcony scene, goes up to 30 x 40 in, $249 frameless or $329 framed. Shipping is free in the US.

Will the portrait match an F1, F1B or multigen cavapoo coat?

Yes. We follow your photos, whether your cavapoo has the Cavalier's longer ears and looser waves or the tight fleece curls of an F1B. Send a recent photo so the cut on the proof matches.

Can you do apricot, Blenheim and tricolor cavapoos?

Yes, any color: apricot, red, cream, chocolate, black, Blenheim or tricolor. We copy the markings from your photos, and anything off is fixed on the proof.

Can I include 2 or 3 cavapoos?

Yes, up to 3 dogs in 1 portrait, cavapoos or other breeds. The hotel bed in Le Petit Déjeuner has room for a small pile of curls. Send photos of each dog.

Can you make a cavapoo memorial portrait from old photos?

Yes. Puppy pictures and older photos both work, and you approve a proof before printing, with changes until the face and coat look like your cavapoo.

Is the dog in the examples my dog?

No. The dogs shown are examples. Your canvas is made with your own dog, from the photos you send.

How long does it take?

Your proof comes back within 24 to 48 hours. Once you approve it, printing and finishing take 2 to 3 days (3 to 5 from mid-November through December), and delivery another 1 to 3 days (2 to 4 in that season), so most canvases arrive 3 to 7 days after you order.
