Photographing your Greyhound

Shoot from the side, at your greyhound's shoulder height, so the legs are not foreshortened. Short coats show every line, so soft side light from a window works well. Brindle coats need daylight to keep the stripes, and black greyhounds need bright light in front. Send 1 photo lying down if that is how you picture the canvas.

How much does a custom greyhound portrait cost?

From $99 for a frameless 9 x 12 in canvas and from $149 for panoramic scenes, which give a greyhound room to stretch out. Panoramic canvases go up to 48 x 24 in. Shipping is free in the US.

Can you get a brindle or blue coat right?

Yes. We follow the coat in your photos, brindle, black, blue, fawn or white, and you can ask for changes on the proof.
